Club Meeting - October 17th

Wohoo! Our first two weeks of Gardens Club are over. Since I didn't post last week, I'll include our activities from both weeks. First week we built a huge planter(10ft X 30ft) to start up some winter crops. The work was tough but we got through it ok. The soil was weeded, tilled, and formed into tiers for planting rows. Second week was awesome too, and we got almost all the planter beds seeded. Pinto and green beans, peas, chard, basil, and cilantro were just a few of the plants we got in the ground. It rained the night before and the night after planting(it was meant to be). Next week we will meet on Sunday from 12-4 or whenever you wanna show up, newcomers welcome. Come join us for some good times (and gardening too).
